Kathryn Borel is a writer and sometimes a producer. Her book Corked: A Memoir was a finalist for the 2010 Stephen Leacock Memorial Medal for Humour and chosen as one of the best books of 2009 by The National Post, Quill & Quire and Eye Weekly. She was one of the founding producers for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s arts and culture radio show Q.

Kathryn’s journalism has appeared in The Guardian, The Times UK, The Believer, The Globe & Mail, En Route, The Toronto Star, The Walrus, Salon.com, Nerve.com, and her essays were published in the anthologies My Parents Were Awesome and The Edible City.

Presently she writes for television in Los Angeles, for the animated comedy American Dad! She is also interviews editor at The Believer.
